We are stronger together. At Huron, we embrace diverse perspectives, encourage new ideas, and challenge the status quo to ignite innovation and enable our people to achieve their full potential. Every individual at Huron has the opportunity to get involved to bring about collective change. You can take an active role in making an impact.

Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are foundational to who we are as a company. We all have an important role to play in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture where every employee can be successful.

  • Diverse Team

    Building a Diverse Team

We have built a team with different backgrounds and a variety of experience and expertise to create a more diverse organization. Together, our individual uniqueness enriches our culture and enables us to deliver innovative solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges.

Our strong commitment to increasing diversity across the organization will include partnering with the top 10 historically Black colleges and universities for campus hiring and broadening our reach for diverse experienced hires through our sourcing strategy.

  • Professional Development

    Professional Development

We are investing more in our employees‘ development. We have designed our mentoring program to ensure you have choices in your personal and professional development aligned with your goals and interests. Collectively, we continue to learn and grow with unconscious bias  and allyship discussions and racism and equality conversations across the organization as well as pairing members of our African American, Hispanic and Latinx, Asian and women communities with senior leaders to provide sponsorship opportunities.

iMatter Teams

Huron’s 10 employee resource groups, or iMatter teams, are led by employee feedback and provide opportunities to connect with those who share a common interest, interact with others to learn more about their perspectives and enable you to make positive change within Huron and the communities we serve.

Community Impact

At Huron, we are making an impact in the communities where you live and work — it is in our DNA. Our philanthropic efforts provide additional community service opportunities and pro bono work to organizations that align with our goals, including supporting work-study programs for underrepresented communities through partnerships with universities and other diversity-focused organizations.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We are committed to making a lasting impact on our people, our clients, our environment and the communities we serve.

Huron truly embraces its people. Our leaders acknowledge that everyone brings something different to the table. They constantly invest in us to make sure that we have the resources and opportunities to express ourselves and do great work.

Emmanuel first learned of Huron during a visit to a career fair during his senior year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Intrigued by the opportunity to work with education institutions — as a consultant, rather than student — he applied through Huron’s campus recruiting program. From his initial on-campus interviews, Emmanuel got the impression that Huron offered a welcoming, collaborative environment.

Emmanuel officially joined Huron in 2017. Today, he works with mission-driven organizations across the education and healthcare industries to evolve their enterprise technology systems.

The chance to work on critical digital transformation initiatives with clients that are passionate about making an impact, whether it’s creating a better student experience or improving patient care, is one of his favorite aspects of the role. “I love that I get to work with people from so many unique backgrounds to come up with ideas that help our clients address complex situations.”

Beyond his project work, Emmanuel is a founding member of Huron’s LatinX employee resource group, which launched in 2020 to support our Hispanic and Latinx employees through professional growth, development and community building. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, he has devoted his free time to starting an organization with his childhood friends that coordinates monthly food drives to support their neighborhood.
