Among the country's most recognizable college athletics directors, Sandy has over 40 years of experience as an administrator and coach, serving in multiple leadership roles at the University of California-Berkeley, the University of Notre Dame, Tulane University, Northwestern University, and most recently at Penn State.
Sandy will serve as a strategic adviser, helping institutional leaders develop solutions to their most pressing challenges on and off the field. This includes mission and culture alignment, planning and problem-solving, and program development at colleges and universities nationwide.
She has been honored with multiple awards and accolades, including the 2022 Athletics Director of the Year award by the Sports Business Journal and inclusion in Sports Illustrated's inaugural list of the "most powerful, influential, and outstanding women in sports." A past chair of the NCAA's Football Oversight Committee and former president of the Women Leaders in College Sports, she continues to mentor and inspire countless men and women in sports.
Sandy will work with an elite team of college athletics experts at Huron who are collaborating with colleges and universities to put possible into practice by tackling challenges and seizing opportunities in the face of unprecedented change. The Huron Athletics team now includes, in addition to Sandy, Jim Delany, Kevin White, Tom Nevala, and Kyle Waterstone, all of whom enjoyed distinguished careers in premier conferences and athletics departments.
