Sondra has more than 15 years of experience improving operational performance in the healthcare industry, where she has worked with multifacility providers, pediatric facilities, durable medical equipment companies and academic health centers. She has specific expertise in patient access, case management, health information management, clinical documentation, billing, collections, self-pay collections and vendor management.

About Sondra

Sondra has more than a decade of experience in advising healthcare organizations on performance improvement initiatives, resulting in over $1 billion in increased revenue for her clients. At Huron, in addition to leading large-scale engagements, Sondra has been responsible for designing the technology and functional capabilities of the firm’s revenue cycle solution.

Throughout her career, Sondra has:

  • Designed and implemented a shared services solution to help a national health system drive an increase of over $200 million in net revenue over three years.
  • Led a revenue cycle redesign, organizational change and technology implementation for a multifacility organization which resulted in a $60 million increase in cash flow over a five-year period.
  • Managed a revenue cycle transformation and business office consolidation effort for a health system with more than 10 hospitals, delivering more than $30 million in annual recurring benefit.

Sondra spent over six years as a healthcare consultant with Stockamp & Associates, which was acquired by Huron in 2008. In this role she led revenue cycle engagements that generated significant financial and patient service benefits for numerous hospitals and health systems.

Sondra was listed by Becker’s Hospital CFO Report as one of the “Female Vendor RCM Leaders to Know in 2018.” She is a member of several organizations, including Women Business Leaders, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and The Women’s Health Leadership TRUST (WHLTrust).
