About Michael

Michael is a managing director at Huron, with two decades of experience guiding healthcare organizations through strategic growth, operational redesign, revenue management and cost optimization initiatives. With a focus on effective communication, change management and leadership engagement, he collaborates with hospital executives and physician leaders to achieve their organization’s missions.

Michael has supported a range of clients across the care continuum including academic health centers, regional health systems, children’s hospitals, specialty hospitals and physician groups. Throughout his career, he has led financial and operational improvement efforts that have generated up to $150 million in sustained client benefit.

Michael has spoken at a number of healthcare industry conferences on topics ranging from revenue cycle improvement to transformation strategy. He has also served as an associate professor and preceptor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Johns Hopkins University.
