Mark is a cofounder and senior leader at Innosight, Huron’s strategy and innovation business, and has been a strategic adviser to both Global 1000 and startup companies in a wide range of industries.

About Mark

Mark has over 25 years of experience helping organizations create new growth strategies, navigate industry disruption, build innovation capabilities, and manage corporate transformation. As a cofounder and leader at Innosight, he has advised companies in the automotive, healthcare, aerospace, enterprise IT, energy and consumer packaged goods sectors, to name a few. He has also advised Singapore’s government on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Mark’s seminal book Reinvent Your Business Model: How to Seize the White Space for Transformative Growth was recently reissued by Harvard Business Review Press. He is also a coauthor of Dual Transformation: How to Reposition Today’s Business While Creating the Future, and most recently Lead From the Future: How to Turn Visionary Thinking into Breakthrough Growth, which is at once a manifesto for visionary thinking and a hands-on guide to long-term planning, strategy development and execution within established organizations in the business world and beyond.

Prior to cofounding Innosight with Harvard Business School professor Clayton M. Christensen, Mark was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he advised clients on managing and implementing comprehensive change programs. Before that, he served as a nuclear power-trained surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy.
