About KK
KK has an intimate knowledge of the educational system rooted in 35 years in teaching, principal and district leadership roles. KK’s passion is in helping schools take a more thoughtful approach to improving performance and enhancing student outcomes. She works with a team of coaches to help school districts build a culture of continuous improvement through strategic planning, goal alignment and leadership development.
Prior to joining Studer Education, KK was the director of professional learning for the Escambia County School District, where she managed the Title II federal grant program and employee development initiatives. She has also worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on reforming teacher evaluations and has collaborated with union organizations such as Teachers Union Reform Network (TURN) to explore how leaders, teachers and employees can listen to each other and collectively solve challenges in education.
Throughout her career working in schools, KK was named principal of the year for Escambia County School District twice and was a regional finalist for Florida principal of the year.
