Kate currently specializes in designing and implementing Huron’s medical group solution. She has established best-practice technology and functional workflows in conjunction with the implementation of performance metrics, providing clients with optimized access performance and culture.
Throughout her career, Kate has:
- Implemented the service-level agreements, care access reporting solution, staff performance management solutions and central service model for access functions, including referral management, insurance review, authorization procurement and pre-service patient interaction for a $260 million net patient revenue health system.
- Led an effort to enhance patient satisfaction and improve access by redesigning scheduling protocols and referral processes for a combined academic medical center and regional medical group with more than 1,000 physicians. By engaging dyad leadership from both regions, the team streamlined appointment scheduling, optimized scheduling protocols and right-sized provider scheduling templates.
- Partnered with the ambulatory access team of a preeminent academic medical system recognized for providing high-quality care to more than 600,000 patients each year to coordinate scheduling and optimize template initiatives for a scheduling experience implementation.
