David has more than 25 years of healthcare technology consulting experience helping organizations transform the caregiver and consumer experience by reinventing their information technology (IT) strategy. He leads Huron’s healthcare technology services business and is a member of the healthcare operating committee.

David is a healthcare technology expert with over two decades of experience managing IT transformation at some of the nation’s leading health systems. He leads Huron’s healthcare technology services business, guiding organizations through enterprise data planning, digital transformation, electronic health record (EHR) optimization and IT advisory.

Over the course of his career, David has advised academic health centers, hospitals, and public and private health systems on ways to improve interoperability to ensure consistent care delivery, quality and patient satisfaction. He specializes in developing solutions that improve the digital end-user experience for caregivers through real-time analytics, internet-connected medical devices and transformational telehealth approaches.

Prior to joining Huron, David founded HSM Consulting. As president and chief executive officer, he grew the firm into a national leader in healthcare management and IT consulting, offering a wide range of enterprise technology solutions. David began his career leading the adoption and implementation of core clinical and clinical informatics platforms.
