She has specific expertise in the planning, management and implementation of electronic health record (EHR) systems; total cost of ownership projections; IT governance; professional staffing models; and business process models.

About Annette

Annette has 30 years of experience transforming IT for healthcare organizations, including ensuring Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance, implementing and customizing EHR systems, and developing business process models. She has specific expertise with acute and ambulatory operations and systems with a variety of vendors. Recently, she has led multiple engagements for hospitals and organizations migrating to the MEDITECH 6.1 platform, assisting leadership in project management, planning and redesign.

Annette holds a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from McKendree University. She is also a certified professional in health information and management systems (CPHIMS), a certified HIPAA privacy and security expert (CHPSE), and a MEDITECH 6.1x ready certified project manager.

Annette is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
