About Amanda

One of the reasons I love consulting is that I get to be innovative and constantly challenged to help my clients achieve their goals. When my clients succeed, then I succeed.

Amanda serves as the federal expert within Huron, and is responsible for setting the enterprise strategy, overseeing operations, ensuring engagement quality, and navigating federal contracting and compliance for the team. Amanda’s experience spans assessments, operational process improvement, business analytics, reorganization, consolidation, and revenue optimization for complex and multifacility healthcare organizations.

In addition to Amanda’s work with hospitals in the private sector, she spent over eight years helping develop the solution and methodology implemented for the nationwide consolidation of revenue cycle offices for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

Through her career, Amanda has:

  • Led multiple engagements at federal medical centers across the country to increase patient and employee satisfaction and improve patient safety.
  • Successfully consolidated revenue cycle processes at the 170 Veterans Administration medical centers into seven central business offices, developing the project methodology and directing efforts for assessment, workflow tools and reporting. This project led to over $38 million in additional revenue per month and additional process efficiencies and financial improvements.
  • Implemented a solution to increase verification, financial screening efforts and pre-service collections for two hospitals within a large East Coast health system.
  • Designed and implemented a patient registration tool to measure, track and improve patient wait times in all clinical access points for a large health system in the South.

Amanda co-chairs Huron’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and is the executive champion for the firm’s Women iMatter Team.
