Huron experts discuss how higher education institutions can smoothly transition to the cloud in EdTech Times Podcast series.

Huron experts joined EdTech Times to offer their perspectives on cloud transformation in higher education in the podcast series “Transforming Higher Ed With Cloud Technology.” In episode one of the series, “Smoothing the Transition to the Cloud,” Huron’s Ted Simpson, Joy Walton and Randy Hendricks discuss how they have helped institutions navigate a cloud migration effectively.

Ted Simpson, a senior director with Huron, has more than 20 years of experience helping higher education institutions implement technology systems. Simpson specializes in helping universities plan and implement cloud enterprise solutions to connect multiple departments across an institution.

Joy Walton, a managing director with Huron, works with higher education institutions on information system design and implementation. Walton recognizes opportunities the cloud provides universities, giving campuses the ability to connect different departments.

Randy Hendricks, a senior managing director with Huron, has vast experience working with technology systems in higher education. Hendricks thinks there’s a need for universities to move to the cloud in order to stay up to date with the technology of today.
